Jonah Sings!

I had so much fun with Jonah at lunch today. We ate our PBJ's and sang Primary songs, it was sweet having one-on-one with this guy.

To home and work,
To nap and play.
The house is quiet, Jonah jokes:

Last week of summer run-down

Janie Cakers:

Her two front teeth have emerged, and she is almost walking! She can growl, belly laugh, and destroy and remove the entire contents of a cupboard in 3.5 seconds. She will be 1 in two weeks! Loves her brothers, especially when they remove her from her bed illegally, and taker her downstairs also illegally. Likes raspberries on her belly almost as much as we like giving her raspberries on her belly.

Jonah:
4 years old, still can't say his r's and stutters with his LOUD high pitched voice. If Jonah is trying to say something, don't compete. sewiously. He likes to look cool and will only wear clothes that he thinks he looks cool in. And are sweats. Changes these clothes at least 3 times a day, and cries and cries if he can't. He is good at legos. Starts mom's preschool in 1 week. Also the most social guy. He 'rules the primary' according to Chuck Palmer. Knows everybody and says hi until they say hi back. Knows the word 'circulation' but says "kirkulation' instead. Really likes to watch football. Curtis is estatic.

Eli:

Playmobile rules his life. He has a little pamphlet that he looks at constantly and tries to figure out what he wants the most. He starts kindergarten Tuesday with Miss Loiselle, he is very excited but is shy too. He dislikes pretty much everything and complains until he gets there or starts playing, and then he is fine. He likes to earn money, he is the best at helping unload the dishwasher for $.25. He loves to be with mom and JK. Spiderman backpack. Getting his 6-year molars.

Ethan: So much a 7 year old boy. Has Mr. Eerdmans for second grade, and can't wait to start school! He also loves legos and will spend hours building ships, cars, robots. He has a little collection of Bakugans and trades them whenever he can. He likes to keep his closet, and Pokemon card deck neatly organized. He also wears jeans and tennis shoes EVERY DAY, even if it's HOT. He gets crabby if he is wearing shorts, and he despises sandals. Takes 25-35 minutes to go potty. no exaggertion.

Becky: Excited for school, and fall, my absolute favorite time of year! I have some around the house organizing projects planned for when the kids are in school, can't wait to start baking more as it cools down. Enjoying working with the 12-14 year old young women in our ward. I'm playing volleyball with our ward this fall, and looking forward to a photography class in October. Hopefully I can bike the kids the mile to school while it's nice. Actually have no idea how far it is.

Not a mile. Feels like a mile though! New Moon with Rosie in November!!! Woo hoo!!!

Curtis:
Starts teaching seminary Wednesday at 6 am! He is so excited about this calling, even with the early hours. BYU football, soooooooo excited after the win against Oklahoma last night. Our fridge downstairs is totally stocked, ready for game day. He has a couple of trips this fall to Utah, of course they coincide with BYU home games. Working hard for Honeywell, thousands (ok hundreds) of emails a day, along with the other actual work keeps him pretty busy.

You know what's coming next: First Day of School!!! Can't wait!!!
