First Day at Tiny Town

Eli and Jo have preschool at the cutest little place called Tiny Town. Eli had preschool at Tiny Town last year, and they have a younger class for 3-year-olds, so I can make one stop and drop two kids for a few hours a week. I have never really been a big fan of preschool, but this state has make me do alot of things I never thought I would do... like paying for social experiences for a 3-year-old and paying HUGE sums each quarter toward property taxes.
Anyway, these guys had a great first day, after the drama from Eli because he didn't want to wear jeans and socks! I think this kid is preparing me WELL for a daughter. Each clothing choice requires intense negotiation along with threats of no tv for a day.

Timmy and Alkon, making forts and snow

After Ethan left for school yesterday I turned on my laptop with the intentions of cleaning up our blog and posting Eli and Jonah's first day of preschool. Well one thing led to another (or one BLOG led to another) and I hadn't heard the voices of my two precious children (who requested to be called Timmy (Eli) and Alkon (Jo)) fighting with each other in their new fort in the Family Room. You know the feeling, when things quiet down, something is definitely going on, right?


And it was! Timmy and Alkon found some styrofoam in the garage and made their own snow!



We tried to clean it up with brooms, but that just made the pieces smaller and harder to pick up. So what did I do? I packed the kids up, went to Wendy's and Babies R Us, and hoped Curtis would clean it up later... which he did:) Honey you're the BEST.

Under Construction

Excuse the blog mess, I am trying to update the background and widgets (love that word) and it takes me longer than the average mommy blogger :) Also no baby yet, I had an appt. today and nothing has changed. I woke up last night sooo excited to meet this new baby! I had a hard time going back to sleep, I was wondering what she'll look like and how much she is going to be loved by her sweet daddy and brothers (and mom!) On that note here is Eli's latest thought on what babies do while they're waiting to come down here:
Eli: "The zero-year-olds are in the heaven class in mommy's tummy."
Mom: "What do they learn?"
Eli: "Nothing! they just sleep and sleep and they are naked!"
