A laugh for today

Rosie: Ethan, are you excited that you are going to have a new baby at your house?

Ethan: I guess... a little. Not really though when I found out how annoying Janie Kate is...

I have been laughing about this all day! Yes we are expecting # 5 in December! I have been feeling tired and queasy but now into my second trimester I am getting some energy and motivation back. We will find out the gender in August. My dishes are getting done and that means blogging again regularly may be on the horizon...

Also Rosie is visiting for the next two weeks and that is a big deal. I am trying to think of a way to get her to stay for a few more years. She is alot of fun and a big help.

A few more of Janie Kate

I can't believe that Janie Kate has outgrown all of her newborn-size clothes. I had to clean out her dresser last week and move out all of the newborn size stuff and move in the 0-3 month stuff. She is also putting on weight in her face and thighs (two places girls just LOVE bulking up)!






Life is very full and so sweet with all these little people around. Most of the time I love being needed by so many people! But sometimes it's frustrating and those are the times when I go into my room and have a time out- 31 minutes because I'm 31. Just enough time to calm down, say a prayer, get the tears out if necessary, and watch FOX news for a few minutes. Life is exhausting, exhilarating, messy, and beautiful!

Janie Kate has arrived!

Our sweet little Janie was born Friday, September 19 at 10:17 pm. She weighed 7 lbs, 15 oz, and has alot of dark hair! We are so grateful that she is healthy and home with us. Her big brothers love their 'litte sisty.' To Jonah she is "Janie Cake" and Eli thinks she needs ' a good ride' so he tilted her car seat back while she was sitting in it. She didn't even budge or wake up though. She is a great eater and sleeper, and seems like a pretty mellow baby.
