We signed a lease for a rental house in Esher this week. It was one that CJL saw while he was out and was one of the ones that he liked the best. We were able to get it for less than the asking price, which will fit our housing budget exactly (the other house that we liked was over our budget).
It is in a quiet neighborhood with a house next door that has a caravan and basketball hoop in the driveway- which we hear are signs that Americans live there, hopefully ones with boys! It is about 5 min from school, 5-10 min from church, and a 20 minute drive for Curtis down to Guildford. And within the circle of the M-25, so not too far from London. The train line goes into Wimbledon and then Waterloo stations.
We are trying to decide whether to take a red eye over or a day flight. I am pro a day flight, CJL is for the red eye. I think I might get my way, hopefully it will be ok.
We had a busy weekend, Janie had her tonsils out on Thursday. She was a brave little girl. Her voice sounds so funny and like she is hopped up on helium. Tonight she said: 'I waanna wead Goin on a hear bunt.' She actually ate carrots tonight too - the first time in a long time that she ate carrots! Maybe there is space back there now! Dr. Greibie said that she had 1 cm of space to swallow, and that her adenoids were taking up 90% of the space in her throat area. No wonder she snored like a 40 year old dude! But she is sleeping well, and doing great. So grateful for that.
Same day as the surgery, Jonah complained of not feeling well at dinner. We brushed him off a little, thought he was trying to get attention because of Janie, etc. Well at 2 am he comes into our room crying and announces" I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sick I TELL YOU." Then went and looked at himself in the mirror and then puked on the hallway floor!! I have never laughed out loud at getting up with a kid at 2 am before. He is such a littl fashionista. Changes his clothes 5 times a day. Likes to look good and do the Bieber hair wave thing.
Busy days and nights. Airship goes out October 24, and then movers are here Nov.2
