Ethan and Eli found most of their winter stuff and went out to play (Eli got annoyed and came inside yelling that his hat wouldn't go on right.) You think he would be excited that he got to stay home from school and play in the snow!

Extraordinary Tuesday
I slept in today because (out of many reasons) it was so DARK! I woke up at 7:45 and my alarm clock was on, and there was hardly any light coming from behind the blinds, and now as I write this there is some really wet snow coming down. Eli and Jonah have yucky coughs so I decided to keep them home from preschool. And with the icky weather I just felt like keeping Ethan home from school too. We made waffles (with whipped cream) for breakfast, and now the kids are playing in the basement. Today will be a day for reading, baking (I'm gonna make pumpkin bread with LOTS of chocolate chips!), and playing with brothers. Janie Kate might squeeze in a nap or two. Curtis, we miss you, come home and join us anytime!

This is Ethan's favorite thing to say while we're eating. I think he might have a Jamaican lunch aid? Maybe?
