Milestones for Ethan

Sunday April 27th was a special day for Ethan. He was ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood by Curtis, along with Grumpy, Josh, and Paul, and Bishop Callister standing in the circle. He also passed the Sacrament for the first time, and bore his testimony in fast and testimony meeting. He said that he felt awkward passing the sacrament. After he sat down, a few other ward members stood and reached out to Ethan and said that they have felt awkward too at church. Our family is so blessed to be in a ward that is so supportive. I really felt that Sunday. I love this Ethan boy, he is so cute and has a funny side that gets me giggling. I am so proud and also astounded that we have a son that is 12 years old! 

Easter Sunday 2014

Easter was really late this year- April 20! We had beautiful weather, a really nice Sunday service at church, and then the Bingham family, along with Paul, Jane and Jane's dad Brian came over for dinner. So nice to catch up with Ryan and Malya. I wish I had a few more pictures of the day, but getting these ones before church with everyone dressed was truly a miracle! 

Curtis turns 39

Steak and Chocolate cake were on the menu. First birthday in our new house! We feel so blessed to be in this house and neighbourhood. We grilled and ate outside and just enjoyed the evening together. Curtis got a big bag of pistachios, Heath bars, and a camp stove that was stashed away in the back of my van. As we were talking about Curtis turning 39, I thought it was absolutely weird that I have known him since he was 21! Almost 20 years I have known and loved this guy. Happy Birthday Sweet Love!
